And also a lot of information for the DC Lottery enthusiast. What makes the DC Lottery so accessible? The fact that all 300+ retailers are inside the District of Columbia's 62 square miles and anyone can easily go to any one retailer within an hour to buy a ticket. For scratch off lottery games where top prizes have already been distributed to retailers, anyone living in or near the District can conceivably find them. Obviously this contrasts radically with lotteries in larger jurisdictions which often have thousands of retailers spread out over much larger territories.
